Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview We are searching for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center. This position directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse and transportation operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel. Supervisors should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations. Responsibilities Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift and continually seeks out improvements or best practices. Responsible for routing for the next day's delivery tickets. Determines staffing levels and assign workload. The responsibility for ensuring shift is pulling and loading items for the next day delivery. Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse Manager. Ensures compliance with all State, Federal, and Industry related administrative policies and procedures, safety rules as well as BradyPLUS policies/procedures. Additional duties or special projects as assigned. Ideal Candidate 2 years of warehouse/distribution experience required Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications Bi-lingual in Englis/Spanish preferred Good organizational and time management skills Strong customer service skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns Must be able to operate various pieces of equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization Add and subtract three-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and perform these operations using units of U.S. money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
