Associate veterinarian needed for a mixed animal clinic in Eastland Texas. Job requires proficiency at all aspects of Small Animal veterinary medicine and surgery. Food animal general medicine, reproductive care, preventive medicine abilities are required. We do a small amount of basic equine work. Some rotation or emergency calls is necessary. This is an old fashioned clinic with full lab / x-ray / ultrasound that stresses service to our clients. We are not a corporation.    I would like to hire an associate that has the potential to own a highly successful clinic that has a extremely stable established client base. New graduates would be acceptable. I would like to mentor a young veterinarian that would take this clinic and run with it. PLIT and state license fee included in in pay package. Base salary is sufficient for the associate to cover their own desired medical insurance , Bonus pay for emergencies will be paid.  CE allowance is included. Some retirement package will become available in the after 6 months.

Eastland, Texas is a very clean vibrant small town with great schools, a very nice community hospital, active churches, and civic organizations.  It is located on I-20 within an easy drive to Abilene or DFW. You can get to the airport from Eastland nearly as fast as if you living in the metroplex bedroom communities.  There are many lakes and recreational  facilities  in the area.  The county has 2 Junior Colleges.    The freedom from big city traffic  and stress is easy to appreciate .     This is about as close to a " All Creatures Great and Small " practice as you will find anywhere.
