Server - Village Inn Restaurant

The Village Inn Restaurant, which serves the members at the Independent Living Apartment Community on the Lutheran Life Villages South Anthony Blvd campus, is hiring a full-time Server. If you enjoy working with the senior population, have great communication skills, and excellent attention to detail, apply today! Full-time position; all restaurant staff are required to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Job tasks to meet the needs of our members may include: accurately taking members meal orders, serving food and drinks properly, removing used dishes as needed and resetting tables for next meal service, cleaning duties and sidework as assigned.

Job Qualifications Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, excellent customer service focus, ability to follow directions, genuine enthusiasm to help others, ability to engage in conversation with members and staff, ability to work with minimal supervision, basic knowledge of computers, ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
