Job Description

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
Evaluate and negotiate proposals and bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and contracts.
Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new construction technologies.

A successful Civil Estimator should have:

A strong understanding of construction estimating processes and methodologies.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
A detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
