As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting. Leveraging your expertise, you deliver reliable financial reporting, support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, and continuously improve our accounting and finance processes. Your Mission Perform accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, in compliance with defined standards, deadlines, and regulatory requirements Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as financial reporting across the group Ensure accurate and compliant bookkeeping, including the documentation of business transactions and the maintenance of master and financial data Process and review accounting transactions in close collaboration with Finance colleagues and cross-functional business teams Contribute to maintaining high data quality and continuously improving accounting processes, transparency, and process reliability Prepare and analyze relevant financial information to support internal and external reporting requirements What You'll Bring to the Mission Proven experience in accounting and finance, with a solid background in performing accounting activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements A meticulous, structured, and self-driven working style with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance Proficiency in working with financial systems, combined with a strong understanding of data quality and master data management Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuously improving and streamlining accounting processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders Language requirements: German – C1, English – B2 Why MBS A high level of autonomy, trust, and ownership in your role, supported by short decision-making processes and close international collaboration Flexible working hours through a flextime model, with the opportunity to combine office and remote work in a way that suits your needs Modern work equipment, including a company laptop and mobile phone Free EV charging at our headquarters in Usingen Tailored learning and development opportunities to support your professional and personal growth A permanent employment contract, 30 days of annual leave, and contributions to a company pension scheme Additional financial benefits, including a benefit card and subsidized electric vehicle leasing #J-18808-Ljbffr
