Michaels is looking for an MMA Corp Intern who is ready to apply their school course-work to a real-world experience! The intern will assist the MMA Corp department with a wide range of responsibilities during our program. This internship will appeal to proactive and self-motivated students with a genuine desire to learn about the real estate business and industry. During the internship, you will work on real projects and have real responsibilities! Michaels aims to help candidates build strengths, gain skills that can be transferred to any workplace, and stand out from the crowd!

Responsibilities

Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9 AM 5 PM for a total of 28 hours. Based out of our Camden, NJ headquarters.

Highlights of the MMA Corp internship include: Working alongside other interns and recent college graduates. Learning from our more experienced team members and best-in-class leaders in the real estate community. Participating in company-wide and departmental meeting and events and a variety of social, professional, and networking opportunities. Gaining exposure to property management operations, transitions, facilities, administration, and development-related projects. Supporting real projects that help improve organization, communication, and operational processes across the business.

Responsibilities: Organizing documents for transactions related to properties assuming management. Calling back leads and prospects for communities currently in development. Moving files from Google Drive to the new policy platform. Assisting with placing documents into the new policy format, where needed. Assisting with the committee supporting the annual leadership meeting teambuilding charity event. Assisting with setting up a tracker for business license requirements. Providing administrative and project support to the Transitions, Facilities, and Admin teams. Supporting organization, follow-up, communication, and documentation needs across assigned projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Current high school student with an interest in learning more about real estate, property management, business operations, facilities, or administration. Comfortable using computers and learning new systems, including Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and other business platforms. Strong writing, customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Proactive, dependable, professional, and eager to learn. Ability to follow direction, ask questions, manage assigned tasks, and maintain confidentiality when working with company documents and information.

Salary Range

$15.92 Per Hour
