A Host/Hostess welcomes guests with a warm, positive attitude, seats them efficiently, and keeps them informed about wait times while ensuring their comfort. The role emphasizes building genuine relationships through friendly interactions, monitoring service flow to balance server workloads, and supporting the Front of House team by assisting with tasks such as stocking supplies, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness. Hosts are expected to uphold company values, maintain professionalism, demonstrate teamwork, adapt to pressure—especially in busy or crowded environments—and provide accurate information about amenities, promotions, and events. Regular attendance, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lbs., and operate beverage dispensers and paging systems. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with prior customer service or restaurant experience, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. The job is performed indoors with exposure to noise, smoke, and varying temperatures. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and obtain ServSafe Food Handler and Alcohol Certification within 30 days of hire.
