Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Charge RN, you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care, LTC, or nursing homes adds tremendous value to our nursing team. Every day you will advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with your department's operational goals and objectives. Mentors others in competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and participation in inservice education. Provides direct patient care as appropriate to meet the needs of patients and department. Evaluates care given by staff. Coaches to improve care. Ensures standard of care is maintained. Job Requirements Required Associate of Nursing Registered Nurse: AZ American Heart Association certifications (Basic Life Support - CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Stable program within 12 months Preferred Bachelor of Nursing and two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or Charge Nurse experience.
