Job Description

Salud Para La Gente (Salud) is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to join our OB/GYN Hospitalist team serving patients at Watsonville Community Hospital .

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) , Salud is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective health care that meets the needs of the diverse communities we serve. In this role, youll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team operating a 24/7 OB Hospitalist Program committed to excellent maternal and womens health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Provide evidence-based Obstetric and Gynecologic care for patients at Watsonville Community Hospital.
\n
• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine Physicians in Labor & Delivery.
\n
• Provide timely consultations in the Emergency Department.
\n
• Serve as a preceptor for Family Medicine residents rotating through the department.
\n
• Actively participate in Quality Improvement committees and hospital governance.
\n
• Maintain continuing education and professional development to ensure licensure compliance.
\n
• Keep all required certifications and licenses current (CA Medical License, CPR, Drivers License).
\n
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
\n

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

\n
• Valid California OB/GYN Physicians and Surgeons License
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
\n
• Eligible for hospital admitting privileges at Watsonville Community Hospital
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
\n

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $343,792.95 $379,598.34 annually
\n
