Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent RN - Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. The role involves providing routine and complex care in a telemetry unit, dealing with patients experiencing MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, and PVD, among others. This position allows for independent practice in a supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness, using the appropriate protocol
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
