About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL-A Flatbed Driver to support local operations in the Odenton area. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, daily home time, and the potential for permanent placement.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $27-$28 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, first shift
Hours: 40 hours per week
Home Time: Home daily
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire

Job Details

Route Type: Local
Freight: Concrete and building materials
Equipment: Tractor-trailer and flatbed
Transmission: Automatic
Handling: Strapping and unstrapping loads

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL-A flatbed tractor-trailer on local routes.
Transport concrete and building materials in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
Secure and unload freight using required strapping techniques.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Meet the physical demands of the position, including frequent strapping activities.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL-A license.
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Previous flatbed driving experience.
Experience operating flatbed equipment.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
