Senior Human Resources (HR) Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to support a fast-paced organization in El Segundo, CA. This long-term contract opportunity will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day People Operations functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, leave of absence management, HRIS transactions, and employee support.The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong Workday experience who can work independently, navigate ambiguity, and quickly become a trusted resource for employees and leadership. This individual will partner with managers, employees, vendors, and benefits providers to address HR matters, resolve issues, and ensure a positive employee experience.Responsibilities:Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters.Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless employee experience.Support benefits administration and leave of absence processes, including employee inquiries and vendor coordination.Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation within HR systems.Process HR transactions and updates within Workday.Partner with benefits carriers and vendors to resolve employee and operational issues.Investigate HR-related concerns, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.Generate reports and support HR data management and compliance activities.Document and improve HR processes to increase operational efficiency.Support employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
