St. Louis, MO 63128 Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (40 hours/week) No weekends or holidays Key Responsibilities Room patients, vital signs Assists with procedures, EKG Instrument maintenance and prep Stock exam rooms Documentation, scanning Point of care testing Basic in basket and refills Communicate with physician or APP Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies Medication reconciliation, injection administration Schedule appointments, medical record releases Diagnostic and ancillary order entry Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training What We're Looking For Medical Assistant or related healthcare experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude with a passion for helping others Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting Comfort working in electronic health records (EHR) systems What to Expect Hands-on role in a busy outpatient clinic with frequent patient interaction Collaborative, team-focused work environment Active role requiring standing, walking, and assisting with patient care Safe clinical setting with proper PPE and protocols in place Join a team where your work truly mattersapply today and start making a difference with Mercy.
