Job Title: Packer Food Manufacturing Job Description

The packer plays a key role in packaging candy products safely and efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This position focuses on packing, inspecting, and preparing finished products for shipment while following strict food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. You will work closely with your team to keep production lines running smoothly and help ensure that every product leaving the facility meets company expectations.

• Package and pack candy products according to established company standards and specifications.
• Inspect candy and packaging to ensure products meet quality and appearance requirements.
• Set up packaging materials and supplies to keep production and packaging lines running smoothly.
• Stack finished products on pallets and prepare them for shipping and storage.
• Move finished products and materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks when needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, food manufacturing, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep equipment clean throughout the shift.
• Complete basic production paperwork and tracking sheets accurately and on time.
• Make small machine adjustments when instructed to support continuous production.
• Work closely with team members to meet or exceed daily production goals.
• Report any quality, safety, or equipment concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as packing, labeling, stacking, and inspecting products throughout the shift.
• Lift boxes, handle packaging materials, and move finished products as required.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a smock, hair net, gloves, and hearing protection when necessary.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle products and packaging materials throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic to support production goals and team performance.
• Comfort working on a team and willingness to help where needed across the production area.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as packing, labeling, stacking, and inspecting products.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively to follow procedures and complete paperwork.
• Commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all food safety and quality procedures.

• Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing, food production, packing, packaging, order picking, loading, or general labor is beneficial.
• Comfort working around moving production and packaging equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when production schedules require it.

This role is based in a fast-paced food production facility with employees working around moving production and packaging equipment. You will stand, walk, and move throughout most of the shift and regularly perform repetitive tasks such as packing, labeling, stacking, and inspecting products. The facility follows strict food safety, quality, cleanliness, and GMP standards, and you must consistently adhere to these requirements. Personal protective equipment is required, including a smock, hair net, gloves, and hearing protection when needed. The work involves lifting boxes, handling packaging materials, and moving finished products. Production schedules can include overtime and weekend work depending on business needs. Current shifts are: 1st shift MondayThursday from 4:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 2nd shift MondayThursday from 3:15 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.; starting November 16, the schedule transitions to a 5-day workweek MondayFriday with 1st shift from 5:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2nd shift from 1:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This is a Contract position based out of Camp Hill, PA.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Camp Hill,PA.
