Assistant Store Manager, Denver Premium - CO

Overview Michael Kors is looking for a talented, globally‑minded individual with a passion for fashion to support the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the store. Sales Generation Meet personal and store sales goals Assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating business results Ensure an elevated level of sales and service is practiced by all associates; lead by example Continuously develop personal sales techniques and assist associates in maximizing sales Ensure all sales‑related policies and procedures are maintained Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of merchandise and develop product knowledge among selling staff Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends Customer Service Ensure all associates provide the highest level of customer service Build and maintain repeat clientele using personal client book and assist staff with their client books Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively Assist sales associates with customer service issues (e.g., dissatisfied customers, returns, defective merchandise) Operations Collaborate with store manager in risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management Support and assist staff training in register usage and maintenance Understand and properly execute register functions Participate in inventories Execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash Responsible for driving product to and from the Offsite location on an as‑needed basis (if applicable to Offsite drivers) Merchandising / Visual Assist in implementing and maintaining all merchandising/visual directives Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized, and reflects the correct visual image at all times Ensure deliveries are processed in a timely manner Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner Communicate inventory needs to support business goals Human Resources Assist in recruitment, training, and development of staff Assist in ensuring payroll integrity and process Continuously evaluate associate performance and provide feedback to achieve results Resolve HR issues timely and effectively, partnering with HR when necessary Support and follow up on all training programs and seminars Ensure image and grooming standards are professional, reflect the brand image, and are adhered to at all times Direct Reports Sales Supervisor(s) / Stock Supervisor(s) Work Experience Minimum 3 years retail experience with 1–2 years specialty management.
