Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | 40 Hours Weekly Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, averaging 30–35 cases per week
• Assist with and support C-Section procedures as a required component of the role
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including the DaVinci X Robot and Stryker systems
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system
• Participate in a self-scheduling call rotation, including one weekday call per week and one weekend call within every four-week period
• Float occasionally to other areas such as linen services or med/surg as a sitter following facility training

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Iowa licensure or eligibility required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an acute care OR setting
• C-Section scrub or circulating experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Mandatory Reporter certification (Child and Adult) required prior to start
• Must be able to clear a 10-panel drug screening including opiates and complete all required background check components prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly DaVinci systems
• Interest in expanding robotic surgery skills and cross-training opportunities
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR platform
