Perioperative/PACU - RN

Job Title: PACU Location: Clarkston, Washington Schedule: 7:00AM - 5:00PM x 4 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $64 - $69/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PACU for a temporary assignment in Clarkston, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PACU:

• Provide nursing care with strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion areas • Work a schedule of 4 - 10-hour shifts with variable scheduling and shared on-call rotation • Maintain a minimum of two years of SSSU/PACU/PRE/POST experience • Charge nurse experience preferred • Float to the entire Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and hospital needs for conscious sedation for special procedures • Utilize nursing assessment skills including peri-operative education and care • Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
