As a Security Officer Truck Gate in Shippensburg, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values people, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Support security-related operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and following established protocols for restricted areas and key control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
