Training Coordinator

Title: Training Coordinator Location: Des Plaines, Illinois Duration: 12 Months 100% Onsite Required skills Strong communication and customer service skills (white-glove support for leadership when needed). Experience processing transactions in an LMS, document management, or change management system (SmartSolve experience preferred but not required). Proactive communication and collaboration with team and stakeholders. Preferred skills Experience creating or updating training materials or documents. Instructional, teaching, training, or team leadership experience. Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate are a plus. Education Bachelor’s degree preferred (science, education, or equivalent experience). Industry experience Medical/pharmaceutical preferred, not required. Systems used daily SmartSolve LMS, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Office suite. Best personality traits Proactive, positive, collaborative, goal-oriented, comfortable asking questions. Processes transactions in the Learning Management System per company training programs. Project implementation experience may be required for initial plan design and existing plan enhancements; able to execute testing and provide feedback on system changes. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Delivers training at a level which requires facilitation of group process in diverse settings; design learning interventions to meet defined needs; works with management to define organizational objectives and assist in the designing of courses to meet those business needs. BS (5+ years) in a learning, technical, or closely related discipline, or sufficient practical and transferable experience to demonstrate practical equivalence; understands human learning concepts and has experience designing learning interventions to meet specific business needs.
