Stf, Contracts Management (HYBRID TELEWORK)

Description: The Staff, Contracts Management representative will work within the Radars, Electronic Warfare & Acoustic Systems (REAS) Market Segment. This individual will work in a fast‑paced environment managing contracts, negotiating directly with U.S. Government customers and interacting with their respective programmatic teams. They will review customer requests for proposals and offer alternate approaches to mitigate risks involving schedule, cost, specifications, etc. They maintain communication with cross‑functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to execute required actions on time. They ensure contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations and communicate and present to internal and external customers. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher with 5 or more years of experience Contract life cycle experience including proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts Basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem‑solving skills Desired Skills Prior experience with U.S. Government cost estimating and exposure to finance analysis Some experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting and willingness to learn Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA) Ability to work independently, task oriented with attention to detail Experience working in a fast‑paced environment Positive and enthusiastic attitude; collaborative team player Exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, program, and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action Knowledge of Government property management, data rights, and proposals Complete understanding and application of Government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. A U.S. Citizen is required for consideration. Clearance level: Secret.
