Location and Job Title: Group Exercise Instructor JCC of Central NJ 1391 Martine Ave Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 Principal Responsibilities Summary of Position The JCC is seeking an energetic and motivating certified Group Fitness Instructor, with a keen understanding of customer service and professionalism, to lead dynamic group fitness classes focused on strength training, toning, and full-body conditioning. This role is perfect for an experienced fitness professional who enjoys helping participants build strength, confidence, and community in a welcoming inclusive environment. This is a part-time, overtime non-exempt position with schedule flexibility, reporting to the Director of Fitness. Daytime, evening and weekend shifts available. Schedule will be determined based on availability and program needs. Key Responsibilities Lead safe, engaging fitness classes that combine strength training, muscle toning, and light cardio Design class formats adaptable to varying fitness levels and abilities Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and modifications Create a positive, supportive, and motivating class atmosphere Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to lead scheduled classes Communicate professionally with staff, members and participants Positively represent the JCC with professional appearance and conduct #J-18808-Ljbffr JCC Association of North America
