This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on patient outcomes while growing your career in a fast paced, collaborative environment based in Pittsburgh, PA.What will you be doing?Researching and evaluating state-of-the-art AI and machine learning models to identify potential applications across Smith+Nephew productsPreparing, cleaning and structuring large datasets for use in model development and trainingDesigning feature encodings to extract meaningful insights from complex dataDeveloping, coding and training machine learning models using modern data science toolsValidating and analyzing model performance using appropriate statistical techniquesCreating intuitive interfaces and tools that enable teams to explore and use AI models effectivelyCollaborating closely within a multidisciplinary, fast paced R&D environmentWhat will you need to be successful?Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or a related fieldMaster’s or Doctoral degree preferred1-3 years of experience applying machine learning in an academic or professional settingStrong programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB or similar languagesExperience with machine learning and data science libraries such as Scikit learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas or KerasSolid understanding of data analytics and statistical methodsStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical finding**This position does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future**You Unlimited.
