Valued for your dedication and compassion Empowered to grow both professionally and personally Inspired by a strong culture of care and collaboration Welcomed into a close‑knit, mission‑driven community What You’ll Do As the RN Infection Prevention Manager, you will assume responsibility for infection prevention for the 50‑bed skilled nursing facility, supervision and evaluation of nursing care of the 36 long‑term care beds at Masonic Health Care Center. Responsibilities include: Complete or assign completion of nursing care, performing all duties of a staff RN when necessary. Assist and delegate with nursing participation in care plan family sessions for more complete input and follow through on all shifts. Support and participate in all resident care programs. Assure all staff are fulfilling their responsibilities in these program areas. Assist in the hiring and orientation of nursing staff. Assign duties to, train, develop, coach and supervise Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Assist in the initiation, follow through and documentation of fair and consistent disciplinary actions. Know and follow existing lines of communication and authority. Set an exemplary model for staff through professional appearance, treatment of employees and dedication to company goals. Develop and provide education to all necessary staff on precautions and infection prevention to ensure all residents are safe from exposure. Provide a safe environment for residents and employees, participating in safety programs to prevent injuries and return‑to‑work programs for those injured on the job. RN Infection Prevention Manager Requirements Minimum education, certification and/or licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin, BSN preferred. Must have valid CPR, and infection control (CIC) certification. Knowledge of OBRA, state and federal regulations as applied to long‑term care. Able to plan, direct and supervise nursing care of the infirm aged. Ability to direct, instruct and supervise licensed and other nursing personnel. Handle hostile or emotionally upset residents, staff, etc. Able to focus on fine detail with constant interruption. Read, write and speak English fluently. Previous geriatric experience and two or more years supervisory experience. Ability to learn and use computer applications as they apply to job duties.
