Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified registered nurse for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) position in Bakersfield, California. This role involves providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to fulfill the licensing requirements for practice.

Job Details:

• Location: Bakersfield, California
• Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License); 3 years of experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); graduate from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelors or associate degree preferred
• Additional information: The role demands knowledge of advanced nursing theories, clinical documentation, infection control, medication administration, emergency protocol activation, and team collaboration. Candidates must adhere to evidence-based practices, therapeutic standards, and maintain current certifications as required by the organization.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, nursing interventions, critical thinking, nursing judgment, and effective collaboration within the care team. The nurse will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement physician orders safely while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
