Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic

Karl Malone Ford El Dorado Karl Malone Group is seeking a full-time Experienced Service Technician to work in a Certified shop. As a member of our team, you will help support customers through the timely repair and delivery of their vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• This may include but is not limited to the repair of vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test a vehicle's components, and systems using necessary test drives, diagnostic tools, and special service equipment.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding the vehicle's status and any additional needs.
• If additional repairs are needed, provide an estimate of the time needed for those repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed or needed.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Strong automotive background
• Strong skills in teamwork and communication
• Valid driver's license free from major infractions
• Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through
• Prompt and courteous
