Job Description

The customer service representative works directly with customers to fulfill orders, resolve problems, and attend to related needs. Our products include water softeners, drinking water systems and solutions for problem water. The goal of this position is to supply a superior level of service that exceeds the customers' expectations. To be a successful customer service rep, you should be detail orientated, organized, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities include problem-solving, order processing, and performing standard maintenance of current customer accounts. You will also follow company protocols, policies, and goals while acting on opportunities to optimize the efficiency of the department. Additionally, you will provide proactive sales support to assigned customer accounts by developing close relationships with the customer base. Handling payments & deposits, setting appointments for the Customer Care Rep, entering leads into lead portal, answering customer inquiries on the telephone and in person, scheduling service and delivery orders, coordinating schedules with the service/operations team, billing service, delivery, and new installation orders, making outbound calls to current customers with the intent of scheduling additional services, referring unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation, following all rules and regulations pertaining to safety and Culligan policies, and completing any other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset. Strong time management and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
