Registered Behavior Technician RBT - Part Time

Registered Behavior Technician Butterfly Effects provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children and families with autism. We are seeking a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver home‑based treatment in the natural environment of the child. Responsibilities Conduct permanent part‑time home‑based sessions (10–20 hours per week) to teach communication, play, sharing, waiting, and other essential skills. Use play‑based activities to make sessions fun and engaging. Collaborate directly with the child and family to implement behavior interventions. Follow the treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Record session data accurately and report progress to the BCBA. Manage physical demands of the role, including lifting or moving up to 50 lb and maintaining varied postures for extended periods. Qualifications Minimum high school diploma. Active RBT certification. Love and passion for working with children affected by autism. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with auto insurance. Web‑enabled device (laptop or tablet) for data entry and communication. Availability on at least three weekdays for a minimum of six months. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Compensation and Benefits $21–$28 per hour, based on experience, education and certifications. Drive‑time pay between sessions. Training and education support to grow toward BCBA certification.
