Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
We are looking for a caring, dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with babies and supporting their early development in a nurturing classroom environment. As an Infant Assistant Teacher, you will help create a safe, loving, and engaging space where our youngest learners can grow and thrive. You will work alongside the Lead Teacher to support daily routines, classroom activities, and responsive caregiving. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
- Providing attentive care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Engaging with infants through play, language, and sensory experiences
- Communicating positively with team members and families
- Following licensing and health & safety guidelines
- Experience working with infants or young children preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Dependable, patient, and nurturing personality
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High school diploma required (CDA or early childhood coursework a plus)
- Individuals pursuing early childhood education
- Assistant teachers looking to gain infant classroom experience
- College students interested in working in a licensed childcare setting
- Anyone passionate about supporting early development in a loving environment
