Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Fabrication Support to join their team. As a Fabrication Support, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-conscious mindset, and excellent communication skills, and will align well with the organization.
Job Title: Fabrication Support
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Range: $20+/hour
Shifts: 4th Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM;
B Shift: Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM; Thursday, 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM
C Shift: Thursday, 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM; Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company's vision, culture, and strategies
- Ensure safety is prioritized by following all safety programs and promoting a safe work environment
- Set up and operate equipment efficiently to maximize output while meeting quality standards
- Perform job rotations every 4 hours to prevent fatigue and injury during strenuous or repetitive tasks
- Accurately fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing orders, packaging, and verifying specifications
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills and ability to recognize safety concerns
- Ability to utilize inspection equipment and detect minor product defects
- Strong motivation and self-starting attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow inspection procedures according to customer specifications
