Physician On-Call Services \n
Location: Columbus, OH 43215, United States.\n
Schedule: Day Shift- 24-32 Hours Weekly\n
Duration: 3+ Months (Extendable).\n
Pay Rate: $130 - $150/hour.\n
\n
Summary: Will work on call and going various DODD facilities throughout the state of Ohio- Maybe called to go to another DODD facility site outside of the area.  Can work up to 24 hours in one week, may work 2 days at one facility, work another 2 days at another facility in same week. for a couple weeks, but then may not work for a month.  They do have some immediate PRN needs at this time.  \n

Key Responsibilities: \n
\n•    Direct and coordinate medical services in accordance with ICF/IID standards and applicable healthcare regulations.\n
\n•    Serve as a primary care physician by conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and making referrals.\n
\n•    Manage acute and chronic medical conditions and provide care for complex cases when needed.\n
\n•    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing, psychology, psychiatry, case management, direct-care staff, families, and guardians.\n
\n•    Collaborate with Certified Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.\n
\n•    Develop and implement medical policies, procedures, and standards of care.\n
\n•    Participate in committees related to admissions/discharges, infection control, medication management, emergency preparedness, unusual incidents, and patient rights.\n
\n•    Provide clinical consultation, medical oversight, and direction to healthcare staff and support personnel.\n
\n•    Assist with disease outbreak investigations, public health initiatives, program development, and quality improvement activities.\n
\n•    Support healthcare planning, resource allocation, and development of services for individuals with complex or special healthcare needs.\n

Required Qualifications: \n
\n•    Education: Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD or DO).\n
\n•    Licensure: Valid, unrestricted from State of OH.\n
\n•    DEA certification\n
\n•    American Board Certification\n
\n•    COVID-19 Vaccine Card or an official exemption letter\n
\n
