Echocardiology Technician

Schedule: Full-Time Your experience matters Havasu Regional Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. We are seeking an Echocardiology Technician to provide quality cardiac imaging and support patient care. How You're Contributing Perform Echo procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media and/or medication within scope of practice. Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate. Prepare equipment and supplies. Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunction as necessary. Position patient and perform imaging procedure(s). Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results. Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
