Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (0730–1800) | 36 hours per week | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team while maintaining a clean and safe environment; required to take call and may float in rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN licensure
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
• Experience in Operating Room nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with evidence-based perioperative procedures and current OR workflows
• Experience delegating to and overseeing non-licensed assistive personnel
