Job Summary: New York, RN Supervisor (Associate Director of Nursing) The organization is seeking an Associate Director of Nursing to plan and develop programs that improve patient care and employee performance within a transitional care division of care management. This role will monitor performance for patient care, assess units with nurse leaders, and support corrective actions as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift (7.5 hours), minimum 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Primary Source Verification of license and registration of Registered Professional Nurse from the New York State Department of Education (NYSED)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Discharge planning experience (2 years)
  • Utilization review experience (2 years)
  • Care management experience
  • Patient care improvement experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in discharge planning and utilization review
  • Seven (7) years of experience is required, five (5) of which were in a supervisory role
• Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Nursing
