Shipping Clerk (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $25-$28 per Hour | Full-Time | Entry-Level Warehouse & Shipping Opportunity

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and looking to start or grow your career in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations? We are seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in a temp-to-hire role. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate preparation, packaging, and shipment of electronic products while supporting daily warehouse and shipping operations.

No prior shipping experience is required. We provide hands-on training and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, locate, and gather products for shipment according to packing lists and customer orders.
• Verify item descriptions, quantities, and order details for accuracy.
• Package electronic products securely using proper packing materials and shipping standards.
• Apply shipping labels accurately and prepare outgoing packages for carrier pickup.
• Assist with shipping documentation, including packing slips, address labels, and data entry into shipping systems.
• Support loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Track outgoing shipments and report any shipping discrepancies or delays.
• Maintain an organized shipping area and assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Inspect packaged products for visible damage before shipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures, shipping regulations, and quality standards.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safety compliant.
• Learn shipping processes, warehouse procedures, and logistics best practices under the guidance of experienced team members.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous shipping or warehouse experience required; training provided.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English.
• Must be authorized as a U.S. Person in accordance with EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15 requirements.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move boxes and materials up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the workday.
• Manual dexterity for packaging, labeling, and handling products.
• Ability to read shipping labels, packing slips, and inventory information.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and other safety gear as required.
• Ability to operate basic material handling equipment such as hand trucks (training provided).
• Comfortable working in a warehouse, shipping, or distribution environment.
