The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $207,000–$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Own the strategy, scoping, and long‑term technical goal for sharing infrastructure, ensuring architectural decisions align with organizational priorities. Clarify, make tractable, and drive complex, ambiguous technical roadmaps. Lead Engineering teams in designing and optimizing scalable sharing infrastructure and UI primitives to drive ecosystem growth for Gemini and other strategic Google products. Serve as the primary engineering lead, exhibiting leadership and influencing designs across multiple groups, partnering closely with product management, UX, and data science to bridge system architecture with product strategy. Support the team to strategically leverage AI/ML tools to enhance team creativity, collaboration, and engineering velocity. Hire, coach, and mentor a high‑performing Engineering team, fostering career development and a culture of technical excellence.
