Senior Paralegal — Plaintiff's Personal Injury

The Curran Firm | Media, PA | Full-Time, In-Person

$65,000–$75,000/year, depending on experience

The Role

We're hiring an experienced Senior Paralegal to manage personal injury

files from intake through resolution. This is a hands-on role for someone

who can run a caseload with limited supervision and knows what a file needs

before being asked.

What You'll Do

- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through

settlement or trial, tracking deadlines and case status independently.

- Order, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and provider

documentation; identify gaps and follow up with providers.

- Draft and prepare complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses,

subpoenas, and correspondence.

- Prepare demand packages and settlement statements; track and resolve

medical liens and subrogation claims.

- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, including its

AI-assisted research tools, and verify results before they reach an

attorney.

- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters,

witnesses, and experts to gather case information and keep clients

informed.

- Support trial preparation: exhibits, witness files, trial binders, and

on-site trial support as needed.

- Maintain case files and calendar in [case management system], keeping

records current and deadlines calendared.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of paralegal experience, with at least [3] years in plaintiff's

personal injury.

- Working knowledge of Pennsylvania civil procedure, statutes of

limitations, and local court rules in [Delaware County / the surrounding

counties].

- Hands-on experience with Westlaw, including comfort using AI-assisted

research and drafting features, plus a habit of checking citations and

outputs before relying on them.

- Comfort adopting new technology generally.

- Strong drafting skills and the ability to write clearly to clients,

adjusters, and the court.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software such as Filevine.

- The ability to prioritize a full caseload and work independently, and the

instinct to flag a problem early rather than sit on it.

Nice to Have

- Paralegal certificate or ABA-approved paralegal program.

- Experience with [medical record review software / e-filing in PA courts /

specific case types like auto, premises, med mal].
