Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a mixed-acuity unit with a patient ratio of 1:2 for PICU, 1:3 for PCU, and 1:4 Acute.
• Serve as a Rover nurse performing tasks including turns, repositioning, bathing, patient transport assistance, ambulation, meal assistance, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with core staff to coordinate shifts and adhere to scheduling requirements, including minimum weekend requirements and major holiday coverage.
• Maintain expertise in Epic charting system for effective documentation and patient record management.
• Meet organizational needs by adapting to various unit assignments, including NICU, Labor and Delivery, and adult acute care environments.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, including maintaining a 100% nicotine-free status and adhering to uniform guidelines.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Two years of pediatric Med/Surg experience at a Level I Trauma Center.
• Strong proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Ability to float between different care areas and adapt to various patient care situations.
• Commitment to working scheduled weekends and major holidays as per unit requirements.
• No locals; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility.
