It’s the way you want to be treated. Position Summary: Supports and compliments the nursing process under the direction of a Registered Nurse by providing patient care in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing assistance to patient utilizing each patient’s physical, psychological, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs under the supervision of the registered nurse
• Completes patient care timely and accurately based on the prescribed plan of care in conjunction with the Registered Nurse
• Completes documentation according to specific hospital policy
• Performs clerical / receptionist functions on the nursing units
• Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
• Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct

Required Qualifications: Education and Training:

• Currently certified by the state of Illinois as a CNA.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certified.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous hospital experience strongly preferred.

Work Shift Details: Registry, Rotating Shifts with weekend and holiday requirements Department:

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $19.50 - $19.50 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
