Internal Medicine Physician

Arc Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our team at the Chinle, part of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS). About The Facility Chinle is a 60-bed hospital offering comprehensive care to approximately 35,000 Navajo Nation residents. Services include inpatient/outpatient primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYN, emergency medicine, mental health, public health, and more. This role is primarily outpatient with flexibility to support across service units if needed. What You Ll Do Deliver full-spectrum outpatient care under the direction of the Acting Primary Care Director. Participate in culturally responsive, community-centered health services. Collaborate across departments to enhance continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with IHS protocols, CMS standards, and privacy laws. Assignment Details Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week; potential for some telehealth or coverage at surrounding clinics. Duration: Flexible minimum of 13 weeks to 12 months (with potential to extend). Start: As soon as credentialed. EMR: RPMS (training provided). Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM or ABFM). Unrestricted state license and DEA (Schedules II V). Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Minimum of 6 months recent clinical experience in outpatient care. Clean background check, malpractice history, and valid driver s license.
