Terminal Manager - Burbank

Job Description

The Terminal Manager for our Burbank location will lead a large team of 12+ members while overseeing all aspects of terminal operations. This role involves managing fleet readiness, supervising drivers, scheduling, incident reporting, and ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate is experienced in logistics management and adept at using fleet management and logistics planning software, with occasional travel to other terminals expected. This position offers growth opportunities in logistics operations specialization within a supportive and safety-focused work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily fleet operations and ensure vehicle readiness
Supervise and support a large team of drivers and terminal staff
Oversee incident reporting and resolution processes
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards
Deliver training programs to team members
Coordinate scheduling and workflow management
Utilize fleet management and logistics planning software
Occasionally travel to other terminals for operational alignment

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years experience in logistics management
Proficient with fleet management systems
Strong team leadership skills
Experienced in incident reporting and resolution
Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills
