We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our per diem team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation in Starke, Florida. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide speech and language assessments, treatments, and therapy services to our patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

• As a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will work on an as-needed basis to provide services to our patients, ensuring continuity of care and support.

• You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of speech and language disorders, including cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, and swallowing disorders.

• You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.

• You will provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers to promote carryover of skills and strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication goals.

• Deliver speech and language therapy services, including cognitive-communication therapy and swallowing therapy.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement interdisciplinary treatment plans.

• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers to promote carryover of skills and strategies.

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

• Current certification in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

• Florida state licensure as a speech-language pathologist.

• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations preferred.

• $44 up to $57 per hour based on employment status and years of experience
