Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse – Cardiothoracic Vascular ICU

Schedule: Shift Length: 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience CVICU experience preferred Required certifications: ACLS, BLS Charting system experience preferred: Cerner Key clinical skills: Post-op open heart care, CRRT/CVVHD, ECMO care, IABP/Impella management, Swan (PA) monitoring, arterial lines, central lines, chest tube management, foley/NG placement, ventilator management, blood product administration

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients in post-operative settings. Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment. Administer medications and intravenous therapies as per protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 72 hours Drug screen required within 30 days of start COVID-19 vaccination not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
