We understand the business needs, are close to our stakeholders, drive cost savings, innovation and sustainable practices by negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.We are seeking a professional like you to join our team and support the day-to-day procurement activities for the assignedcategory mix and locations. In this role, you will support your assigned sites and businesses with their procurement needs and will act as a first point ofcontact for the sites while coordinating within Procurement. You will routinely engage with the associated business units andsuppliers to align supplier capabilities with BASF strategic priorities and explore creative and strategic supply solutions for newand existing technical materials and services. You will also support the North American region in the development of categorystrategies, providing regional input related to supply and demand market dynamics. Additionally, you will run reports in SAP andwork with Master Data, performing analysis and data management.You will be responsible for a significant amount of spend and multiple sites. You will provide a strong voice of procurement toboth the site leadership team and business leaders who depend on the sites that you support.
