\nClinical Responsibilities\n
\nProvide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients ages 18+\n
\nPerform routine wellness visits, preventive care, and chronic disease management\n
\nDiagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions\n
\nDevelop individualized treatment plans and coordinate ongoing patient care\n
\nOrder and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies\n
\nPrescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness\n
\nMaintain accurate and timely EMR documentation\n
\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care\n
\nProvide patient education focused on preventive health and wellness\n
\nSpecial Population Experience\n
\n
\nThe ideal candidate will be comfortable:\n
\nProviding comprehensive care for patients living with HIV\n
\nManaging HIV treatment and monitoring in collaboration with established clinical guidelines\n
\nDelivering gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse patients\n
\nManaging hormone therapy and ongoing monitoring for gender-affirming treatment plans\n
\nCreating an inclusive, patient-centered healthcare environment\n
\n
\nRequirements\n
\nMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school\n
\nBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine\n
\nActive Alabama medical license (or ability to obtain)\n
\nDEA registration required\n
\nExperience caring for adult patient populations\n
\nStrong clinical, communication, and documentation skills\n
\n
\nPreferred Qualifications\n
\nExperience treating patients living with HIV\n
\nExperience providing gender-affirming care and hormone therapy management\n
\nCommunity health, FQHC, or underserved population experience\n
\nBilingual skills a plus\n
\n
\nCredentialing\n
\nAlabama credentialing timeline is approximately 90 days\n
