Locums Hematology/Oncology Antigo, WI (WI or IMLC) Why This Role

Assignment Details
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Two days per week; specific days to be determined
• Hours: 8:00 AM Äì4:30 PM, including lunch
• Setting: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 Äì16 per day
• Call: None
• Inpatient Coverage: None
• Procedures: None required
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 60 Äì90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
• Additional Coverage: Ability to support the Medford assignment strongly preferred
• Support Team: Seven RNs, one APP, and four office staff members
Requirements
• Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist
• Hematology/Oncology fellowship training
• Active Wisconsin license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• Current BLS
• Hospital privileges
• Ability to provide consistent two-day-per-week coverage
• Willingness to cover both Antigo and Medford preferred
Clinical Details
• Evaluate new Hematology and Oncology consultations
• Provide follow-up care for established patients
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Oversee outpatient cancer treatment
• Coordinate care with nursing, APP, and office teams
• Refer inpatient needs to the tertiary-care team in Wausau
• No procedures, call, inpatient work, APP supervision, or teaching responsibilities
