Travel Surgical Tech - $1,712 per week in Tillamook, OR

Key Responsibilities
Verify surgery to be performed against consent forms and bring patient to the assigned operating room
Pass instruments to the surgeon during procedures and anticipate needs for additional supplies
Set up and maintain a sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions required for each procedure
Perform appropriate counts with the circulator prior to the operation and before incision closure; prepare and secure sterile dressings
Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and assist the team with room turnover and preparation for the next patient
Consistently monitor and maintain the integrity of the sterile field throughout the operative procedure
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology
Minimum of two years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills
Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technologists (NBST) or Association of Surgical Technologists (AST)
Relevant acute care surgical experience
Familiarity with a wide scope of surgical procedures and instrumentation
