Quick Facts Location: Dayton Children's, Dayton, OH Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: 11/16/2026 Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday Hours/week: 35 hours/week Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Active Ohio medical license, DEA, board certification in anesthesiology Experience: Prior pediatric anesthesiology experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Pay rate: Competitive hourly pay (details discussed upon application) Schedule: Weekly pay via direct deposit Travel & Reimbursements: Mileage (IRS standard rate), rental car, hotel, and flight expenses covered when applicable Benefits: Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program Other Perks: 24/7 dedicated team aligned to support your success throughout the assignment What You’ll Do Provide pediatric anesthesia services for a high-volume Level 1 Trauma Center Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs in a team-based environment Manage anesthesia care for neonatal to adult patients across diverse case types Prepare anesthesia carts (if applicable) and contribute to a safe operative environment Support surgical teams with anesthesia for approximately 50-60 cases per day Adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting with collegial staff including RNs, techs, surgeons, and APPs What You Need Required: Valid Ohio medical license DEA certification Board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology Experience with pediatric anesthesia preferred Ability to supervise CRNAs Preferred: Prior experience in hospital-based anesthesia settings Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment This assignment is at a busy Level 1 Trauma Center in Dayton, Ohio, featuring 14 operating rooms and a team of 22 anesthesiologists. The provider will cover anesthesia services for a variety of pediatric and adult procedures, supporting the hospital’s mission to deliver high-quality patient care.
