TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Crown Point, Indiana, 46307!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM Must-Have Skills/Experience: Labor and delivery management of labor Fetal scalp electrode (FSE) Intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) Epidural care Description: The unit consists of 11 labor beds and 16 postpartum beds. There are 2 operating rooms and 2 recovery bays. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:3 during labor, and 1:6 to 1:8 in postpartum. Equipment used on the unit includes fetal monitoring, infant warmers, FSE, and IUPC. The electronic medical record system in use is Epic. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and hardworking. They should be able to manage emergency situations. Willingness to step in and help others on the unit is essential. Candidates are expected to have a preferred experience of 3 years or more. The patient population includes laboring mothers, antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and gynecology surgery patients.
