Position Overview Chenango Memorial Hospital – Norwich, NY Pay Range: $91.86–$107.20 per hour Chenango Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department (ED) team. This role is ideal for a confident and capable advanced practice provider who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment and values flexibility in scheduling. Primary Department, Division, or Unit Emergency Department, UHS Annual Compensation Range $91-$107/hour Position Highlights Per Diem schedule with flexibility Competitive hourly pay: $91.86–$107.20 Collaborative ED environment within a supportive community hospital Work alongside physicians, APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a busy Emergency Department Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of acute and urgent conditions Perform appropriate procedures within scope Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic studies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Qualifications Active NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required Prior Emergency Department or urgent care experience strongly preferred Strong critical thinking, decision‑making, and procedural skills Excellent communication and patient‑care abilities Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment Why Join Chenango Memorial?
