Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry data continuously.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to abnormal cardiac rhythms or patient conditions.
  
  
• 
  Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years telemetry nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of chest tubes, dysrhythmia management, and telemetry equipment.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking and patient communication skills.
